Filter chip?

Filter chip?

2005-05-11 by jacobcullins

Looking to do some possible renovations to my Poly-800 eventually..
Does anyone know which filter chip the Poly-800/61/DW-X000/DSS-1 uses?
If it's the same as the Polysix and Mono/Poly, which I had thought it
was, it would be the SSM2044 I believe? Anybody know for sure?

Wrong - to quote you "Look at schematic on the files part "

It's the Korg custom VCF/VCA called NJM2069AD. As used in DW6000,
DW8000, DSS-1.

I'm looking at SIX of them in my DW6000 as I type and I recently Moog
Slayed my Poly 800 and its a single one of these chips.

No it's not this one.

The Korg NJM2069AD chip has simultaneous 12dB/oct AND 24db/oct
outputs but Korg only use the 24dB/oct output!

It's an excellent sounding filter too.

Cheers

The Poly800 doesnt use the 12dB/oct line but the DSS-1 does. It's
selectable from the menu (makes for some awesome dark pwm strings
patches too..)
