I just performed the slayer mod as well...in terms of what dubbed it as the "Moog Slayer" (which I assume would be the massively overdriven resonance), I don't think it's phenomanel or anything, BUT, just haveing the realtime filter/res control makes the mod worth doing by far. At first I was thinking the Poly800 to be fairly on par with the Juno 106, and the other lesser Juno models, as well as the Jx3p...but with the knobs, it wins. Now I just need to find a nice moog sticker, and a slayer sticker (shouldn't be TOO hard), and then add some slits to the end of my worn belt for a shoulder strap and walla....instant rockstar mode :b
