I'm at a point now where I'm stucked in ERROR 1 after trying to send the BOOT code to the poly.
When
I've updated the software to 2.66 all the process went fine (GOOD 0,
GOOD 1, GOOD 2) using the same set up I've at the moment, with no
changes.
Since I've tried to downgrade the software it seems is not receiving any midi message (BOOT, EEPROM) - FLASH 1 - ERROR 1.
I've
anyhow tried to update the BOOT code following the process of inserting
CHIP 28C256 in the BOOT ROM socket, and the synth didn't power up.
I
don't understand where is the hitch here, I'm wondering if I should
somehow reset completely the hawk800 and re-install everything, if
possible.
What is your opinion about?
