Well the title sums it up. A couple of months ago i
bought a poly-800 mk1 in very good condition, it worked perfectly - but then i
forgot to change the batteries so it reseted into only white-noise-patches.

Now I'm tryning to transfer the original patches back into the
synthesizer with a WAV-file from analog.no, and it does'nt work! I try adjusting
the volume, but I can't find one that works. Anyone here who have done this that
can share their experience? With lower volyme, the LED blinks, but it does not
give me any message at the end, still displays "VRFY". At higher volumes, I get
"ERROR", the higher the volume, the quicker the "ERROR". I've tried to find a
sweet spot in between, but there does not seem to be any. Do you use a mono 3,5
mm cable or a stereo one? Do you have a wav-file that you know works? And what
kind of software do you use to play it (I have a
mac)?

Have you tried changing the HI/LOW level switch on the From Tape input to
get a different range of levels?
