If it already has a CR2032 battery in it, as Gordon says you just unsolder
the old battery and solder in a new one. It’s a bit of a pain to get it open,
since all screws/bolts on the bottom must be removed, and I mean ALL. Just
remember that the biggest bolts (4 of them) go in the key bed, the shortest
screws go under the front of the keyboard, and the longer screws go all the way
around the back and two sides. Open it up and see what is in there. If you are
lucky, maybe somebody has already replaced the battery with a battery holder so
you can just pop a new one in without any soldering and without looking for a
battery that has solder tabs. I don’t know what is in a DS-8.

Open it up, remove battery, fit new battery.
