I've also uploaded a standard ex800 patch to default my newly adapted (jay!) hawk800 but it seems pitch data on P2 defaults to zero if these parameters are not available. Shouldn't that be set to 63 by the Hawk firmware then? This way you're able to load standard sysex files and retain the pitch range?
