I've created a Reabank file for selecting banks and patches from the Hawk800 using Reaper's ReaControlMIDI plug-in. All the native Reaper plug-ins are free, so I guess it will also work with any DAW that supports VSTs. ReaControlMIDI also allows you to automate up to five MIDI CCs at a time, so I imagine it would also be useful for controlling the Hawk800 parameters that are hard-mapped to CCs from a DAW, as well (though I haven't experimented with it in this capacity yet).
Eventually, I would like to create a software controller to edit all Hawk800 parameters using Reaper's JSFX engine, but it'll probably take me a while due to other projects/obligations, and of coarse, work. Also, I'm a novice coder so I have to learn the JSFX syntax. If anyone out there already has experience manipulating NRPNs with JSFX, I'd love some pointers!
