Korg Poly800/EX800 Users

After playing around with external audio passed thru the Poly's filter chip, I realized it was much like making a special FX unit like  Sherman filter bank..

I wonder how difficult it would be to add an extra filter inside the HAWK to control with an extra EG and other controls.

I found it to be very interesting to use on external audio.. but it needs more tweaking.  For one, the audio I inject has to be very low volume.. it needs to be attenuated??

Has anyone else placed a permanent external input to the filter?  I'd think with Mike's new algo's in place to modulate the filter, that it would be a good candidate to double use the HAWK as a filter bank/FX unit.
