I have my Poly800 since one week and today I modified it.
Sounds great! Although I have to learn how to program the patches to
get good knob performance.
I did not only the two knobs for filter res and freq. I added a
switch to choose between "factory" and "modified" (2 static resistors
are doing the job of the former VR2 and VR6 with the same values).
I also added two switches that are in parallel to the write
enable/disable for patches and sequencer. And its worth the work!
I don't understand why Korg didn't put those switches on the front
panel.
Has anybody else modifications, more than the filter knobs or battery
supply?

Although I removed all connections and had the PCB seperated for
soldering the wires it didn't loose patches or its sequence!
