I am really interested in getting the HAWK kit, but I would imagine the midi transit/receive settings are inside the edit parameters, right? I am more interested in real-time control... Would it be terribly hard and/or risky to add a physical switch in the midi-out wiring? So that it could be controlled in real-time with an added button? kaden --- In korgpolyex@yahoogroups.com, Michael Hawkins wrote: > > You might want to consider the HAWK upgrade kit. I could also have my sequencer controlling my Poly 800, but turn off receiving midi when i don't it to be sequenced (without having to go over to my sequencer and turn off the Poly 800 track). > > > > --- In korgpolyex@yahoogroups.com, Jason Adkins wrote: > > > > > > Hiya Kaden, > > > > > > Perhaps instead of the Poly800 as a keytar controller maybe buy a Korg > > > 707 which are very cheap and have decent midi, they are FM not analogue > > > but if you just want a midi controller you can strap on perhaps a good > > > solution and they are a lot lighter than a poly800.
