Hi,
when you say : "you have one or more address lines not soldered or perhaps even bridged."
what does mean even bridged ? it is possible to have jumper preinstalled ?

I tried to test all of my work after this happened. I replaced the two original chips, desoldered the cpu write jumper and the synth worked fine with the original configuration. I checked continuity on the ribbon connectors. I also checked every solder joint on the hawk board and that the chips were in the right place.
