Hi Mike, Got my Hawk800 in the kit a few days back and gave it to my partner's son who is much better at soldering that I am. So, firstly I believe the kit is installed properly and good. I have had difficulty getting the Boot software in. If I install the 3 that are written in lowercase (ie eeprom0) then the synth gets stuck on 'FLASH'. However if I install the three uppercase files (ie EEPROM0) then I seem to get to a working synth, but when I go into the Diagnostic Tools to try function 6 to install a Patch Set the 6 key doesn't work and nothing happens, the other diagnostic functions do seem to work. I haven't really tried to to much else as this function would be a good starting point. I have to say that stupidly in the earlier phase of trying to get the eeprom files in I also installed the 'Boot' file into Flash 3 which resulted in 'Good 4'. Have I messed things up by doing this??
