Hi Gordon, thanks for the reply. Surely there is a way to slip in a rotary encoder to mimic a up\down value keys.. I was thinking of using this decoder by elmelectronics.com http://elmelectronics.com/DSheets/ELM402DS.pdf couldnt the outputs be placed in parallel with the value switches?
