Flicking back to 11 generally indicates a momentary loss of power. If you are running off batteries, you might have loose batteries or a dirty contact. If you are using an A/C adapter, the DC 9V input jack may be dirty. You could also have a dirty on/off switch on the volume dial. It sounds like it just needs a bit of cleanup with a good non-lubricating zero-residue spray cleaner like DeOxit. You’ll have to open it up to clean the on/off switch and volume control.
