what you want to send by the software, as an exemple you could
send 1 LFO and 1 envelope trought the same input, or 2 LFOs and
1 step LFO, you choose.

Let's imagine I can use 4 different Silent Way CV signals to send to the Poly-800, and the latter does have 4 CV inputs into the VCF chip.
