Maybe the effect is to soft for you to hear on the headphones,
the chorus may need adjustment, twisting some VRs on the
chorus board after reading the procedures on the service manual
may do the trick...

In the Mk1, there's only a Chorus board, no delay as in the MkII. The only setting you have per program is turning off or on the Chorus.
The effect does seem too subdued, and it seems strange to me that it would work only with the individual outs and not the headphones.

but it seams like a strange behavior, have you tried to change
the chorus settings? Usualy chorus effects works well with a
50% dry / 50% wet ratio.
I couldn't hear the chorus effect through the headphone jack at all. Is that normal?
If I use the separate audio outs, the chorus effect can be heard although it's not very pronounced.
Is this normal or do I have a malfunctioning Chorus board?
