I'm intrigued by this, as I have a Poly-800 that I haven't used for years. It's in my office at the moment, as I don't have room for it in my studio in its current form. I'd certainly be interested to see what the finished item looks like. a|x On 7 Apr 2010, at 21:10, backshall1 (dsl) wrote: > > > Hi Mike, > I've got one Poly-800 here that is total trash. Six leaking C cells, a leaking lithium cell, not much of the silver finish left on the case, the label around the joystick is all messed up. This is probably a good candidate for a rack unit, assuming I can actually get the KLM-596 working again. I've never seen a lithium cell split and leak like that. I need the keys for a Polysix I'm working on anyway.
