The only way Cubase can talk to a Poly-800 is via MIDI, and the only things the Poly-800 can send and receive are Note On/Off, Joystick changes, Program number, and Sequencer Start/Stop. There is no way to get patch data from Cubase to an unmodified Poly-800. If you have a Poly-800 II, then programs like Cubase can send a SysEx bulk dump of the patches to the Poly-800 II memory. This requires a standard SysEx format patch data file, not some type of script specific to Cubase. If you have the Hawk 800 kit installed (available for all models of Poly-800 and EX-800), then you can send/receive bulk dumps as well as single patch dumps, and a ton of other new features. So, what is a "Cubase script" and what do you expect it to do? Do you have an original Poly-800 or a Poly-800 II? What does a "Cubase script" do? There's no way to send patches to the Poly 800 Mk. 1 over MIDI, no matter what you use. Do you mean a list of the patch names? That would only make sense if you were using the factory patches, loaded from tape... Gordon MM0YEQ
