Korg Poly800/EX800 Users

Hi Bob,

The Poly-800 (MK1, MK2 and EX-800) sequencer transmits on MIDI channel 2 only.


If you upgrade to the HAWK-800 then you can set the sequencer to transmit on any MIDI channel 1-16.

Hi, Have alot of gear and recently got a poly 800. It works well. When I midi it to my Studio Electronics SE-1, I can only get the Poly's seq to trigger the SE-1 not the keyboard. Is this because of the early Midi?
I've midied my SE-1 w/ another of my synths and it works fine. But the Poly keyboard won't trigger the SE no matter how I hook it up. Am I missing something? (yeah the midi)I've the manual and have had it in Omni mode and user channel mode, to no avail Any input would be a great help. Thanks Bob Fales
