am also interested in getting a hawk kit, and the old issue of poking buttons around an led display makes sense. mike, have you had a look at the 'midibox' site? well worth a look round there, they seem to have the backlit lcd and rotary encoders all sussed out. i also rate the idea of an arpeggiator ;) could you re-post details of ordering+current cost, please? i'll be on the lookout for it.
