Well, I really don't have much reason to think that it failed to record properly; because I have tried a bank that I personally recorded and one that someone else I know recorded from his Poly 800 II. I suppose it's possible that both of them are faulty, but it becomes less likely when there's more than one source obviously. I know this is a long-shot trying to see if anyone here can help Me ... but I'm sure it illustrates My desperation pretty accurately. as an alternate method : Do you know if the MEX-800 memory expander has tape in/out ports, or is it just MIDI ? --- In korgpolyex@yahoogroups.com, Frequency Spectrum <freqspec@...> wrote: > > could never get the tape in to work right in mine > 1 in 10 attempts > > the question is... did it actually record properly? > > > On Sun, Aug 9, 2009 at 2:35 AM, Gothik <gothasfuk@...> wrote: > > > > > > > Hello, I just found this group tonight while searching for help with a > > problem and HOPEFULLY someone here can provide it for Me. > > > > First the back-story : > > I've had a Poly 800 II for over 15 yrs and it is a highly valued piece of > > equipment in My studio.
