I know this isn't a Jupiter forum (for that go to www.roland-jupiter.org) but you are obviously badly misinformed on the JP-6. The filters do not oscillate. It uses the same IR3109 chips as the JP-8 as a matter of fact but in a different configuration to give you resonant low, band, and high-pass filters (a great improvement if you ask me). Also, the JP-6 does not have DCOs as you state, it has the same CEM3340 chip analog oscs as the Prophet-5 rev 3 and OB-Xa/OB-8. As for "lumpier" sounding LFOs, I have no idea what that even means. Sorry for the OT but I hate it when I see misinformation being spread.
