Sounds like a great way to emulate the TB-303 accent. I won't go into the long and frankly terribly boring explanation of how it works. Suffice it to say that if you too are the sort of person who can be bothered to clone the TB-303 envelope circuitry just to measure its behaviour so you can write a software emulation, you might want to know the gory details. The 303 accent is more complex than you think. Gordon
