i won't pretend to understand the algorithm right now...  but i'm 
wondering if it can be seeded with `random` midi or wheel data...? it may 
be a naive suggestion, but if the seed can be the address of, say, the 
most recently recevied midi note/CC message (sync messages should be 
ignored), would that benefit the randomness? and if midi messages are 
being received while the random LFO is running, then it would also 
increase the period?
