This is why I quit going to the Extremetech forums. A simple debate about ATI vs Nvidia video cards would mushroom into republican neanderthals vs democrat tree huggers. You know what? There are other forums that want to talk about politics. Please go there. Or start another yahoo group called "NZ air force may or may not exist" and you two can go yell at each other there. And take Dieter from the waldorf group with you.
