YES! That's right, I've finished the initial PCB design and am now officially talking to Futurlec about producing a short run of maybe 10 units to verify the design. Along with the additional RAM and ROM comes space for two 16 pin chips and four 8 pin chips so that we'll be able to squeeze some more hardware mod's onto the board. You never know, we might have a kit ready for Christmas after all. The next question will be how we progress with software development. Once people start buying and installing the kit, I expect there will be a flurry of requests for new features. Truth is though, I think the best way forward will be for us to form a software development group on sourceforge.net and put the code out there for everyone to work on. Anyone want to brush up on the assembly language programming skills? Mike.
