i had a nice post all typed out and it didnt get posted. bummer. anyway, im excited about all this talk of modding the poly 800... im an ex 800 owner myself, and have done the moog slayer mod, the FM mod, and am working on an audio input mod where there is a knob that fades between the noise source/audio input, before all the rest of the voice architecture... mike, i have a couple requests for the new os: id love to have a unison mode with detune. this would be useful for hoover type sounds. are there any plans to expand on the sonic capabilities of the chorus unit? its a bucket brigade style chip if im not mistaken... could it be tweaked into something more useful? how about midi out while using the sequencer/arpeggiator? it would be cool if we could still use it to run another keyboard. finally heres some pics of my modded ex 800: http://i127.photobucket.com/albums/p144/alien_brain/DSCN0481.jpg http://i127.photobucket.com/albums/p144/alien_brain/DSCN0468.jpg http://i127.photobucket.com/albums/p144/alien_brain/DSCN0464.jpg cheers all! john
