I play in two bands, one straight rock formation, and a pop-songwriter duo. When I was
looking for a new synth a friend gave me the advice to try out a Poly 800. He said it is the
best you could get in terms of really good sounds at a fair price - and it is small and super
light.
I got a Mk1 on ebay just a while ago and am now totally in love with this machine, its sound
and the easy programming. Unfortunately it crashed but I already got good advice from
people in this forum. As soon as there's more time I will repair it :)
To complement my set-up for live shows I will for sure try to get a second Poly 800, or
eventually try out a DW-8000 (am curious what this one can do).
