I know this one has been already processed on this site many times.
But anyway I DARE to ask it again. Appologies for that.
I am happy user of Poly 800MKII. I did a moog slayer mod and more and
more like this beauty - for its wet/silky sound.
However under SW (Logic) sequence it crashes every 2nd second. I
filtered out all not necessary MIDI messages it still crashes.
From other posts I learned that it "may" happen. In my case it is not
that it may "happen" it is pernament issue. Just every time sequencer
starts it crashes and I have to reload SYSEX. It is funny if I
control it from other leyboard (Yamaha V50 or roland Juno) it is
fine???
Ok I know this is a bug in EPROM midi implementation - no room to do
it right in that specific model. Am I right?
Now question :
Is ther a good/quick fix on this??? Can I just buy somewere EPROM
with corrected problem (maybe with other limitation like no local KBD
or something?)
If fix was already posted pls give me a hint on which post.
