You may download only wav. files through TAPE IN/OUT ( sysex files may be used on EX800 ).On this forum are only factory patches in wav. Try to find manual for POLY-800 ( if you don't have manual,you may find it in net ),there are instruction,how to save and load patches.
In my mind the better is to make your own patches. :)
If you have factory patches now,simply change battery for new and load factory patches.

I just came across a yamaha sy55 synth sample cd can the .syx files be
used by my korg poly-800? Sorry I just bought one of these as my first
anologue synth, i'm very new to whole synth/midi/patches/sequence world
and know very little..
It has the moog slayer mod already on it and im thinking of changing
the pots, but i stupidly took out the battery's and lost all the
patches, so i've been slowly patching them in myself but have little
experience with this kind of thing and is a slow proccess. What the
best way i can get a new set of patches?
