Korg Poly800/EX800 Users

hello everyone,

i just got a poly800 and i think i've seen just about any and all moog 
slayer information i could find online. at first i wanted to have the 
option to turn the mod off but i ditched that idea. i'm gonna go to 
radio shack and pick up some 50k pots. the one thing i'm worried about 
is the resonance pot. i played with the built in trim pot and it was 
way more than enough resonance. i dont want to blow any speakers out so 
should i use a different pot for that? i want as much cutoff as i can 
get but i don't think i'll need too much resonance. i might do that 
little modification to put the enable switches on the front panel. so 
any help would be cool. i've read the current posts about the guy that 
lost his banks every time he turned it off after he did the mod. i'm 
still unsure of how those wires are connected. does the wire go to the 
resistor on that cardboard? does it go to the diode next to it? it 
seems every site has a different way of doing that. thanks to anyone 
who can explain this.
