Kawai Synthesizers

I'm trying to hook up my K4R to my 16 channel mixer by using K4R's 
"individual out" functionality.

I can seem to assign the output OK when working on Single patches, 
but when it comes to maintaining those assignments when those Single 
patches are collected into a Multi, I seem to loose all the output 
settings.

I do have the manual, but it's a little weak on explaining all 
this 'sub mix' stuff and how to *really* do it for a K4R.

Can somebody give me a quick-n-dirty explanation (or provide a link) 
to what you need to do get this elusive "each patch within a Multi to 
go to it's own output jack" voodoo to work?
