There are three main factors in wall-wort power supplies: voltage, VA or max amperage, AC or DC output, and polarity. It's possible that the supply that made the floppy drive fail couldn't provide enough amperage. I suggest you look for a power supply whose ratings match the original kawai supply. Hostfelt Electronics (http://www.hosfelt.com/) probably has something suitable and inexpensive.
