sometimes when i start up my k3m, the keyboard tracking or tuning
seems to go haywire like its on some kind of hindu tuning scale. 
anyone know what the hell that's all about?

Hi Electro,

  Could the internal battery be old enough that it is not keeping the 
Ram memory intact? Other than that is it downstream from a controller 
that's sending B.S. messages to it?

Hello.

Anyone in the ca bay area with a cart with the
presets?  I found one of these systems, love it, and
would like to use it but dont have a cart, and the
presets seem altered.

Garen,

Is your unit a K3 or a K3M?  To reset the K3 to original,
turn the unit off, holding down the bottom 3 keys, and
turn the unit on - continuing to hold the keys for about
30 seconds.  That's a hard reset.  I can't remember right
now how to do the M, but I can tell you later if you need.
