Hello to all.
Mine k3 is broken. Does anyone have links to the Service Manual ?

I have the K3 service manual in paper form, but it's missing some info
on calibrating (patch creation chart). I should be getting a scan of
the  K3m schematics in a few days.

I don't have a scanner, so i'm not sure how i'd get them online, other
than taking a digital photo of them.

Hello-

Are the schematics for the k3m and the k3 similair
then?  I understand that the k3m is rackmount, without
the keyboard.  I wouldnt mind a copy of the k3
schematics if someone has them . . .

Im also looking for a rc-2 memory cart if someone
knows where to get them.  What is a fair price for
them these days?

Also, i understand there are midi programs on the
atari st to modify/upload patches, are there any low
end freeware, shareware apps for either win/mac to
start with?

Hi,

The K3 and K3m are laid out differentley internally, so you really
need schematics for each specifically. I have the K3 schematics,
waiting on k3m to be scanned and sent. I'll try and make some decent
copies of my k3 schematics by taking a digital photo (4mp).

Oh, and if you can use DOS, i uploaded a program the other day in the
files section which is an editor/librarian for the K3. There might be
a way to get it to work under windows.

I'm planning on doing a modern graphical editor in the VST enviroment
for the K3 (including additive synth section), I'm just waiting for
Synthedit to be updated to v1.1 which will have sysex output capability.
