Can you use the K3 to control the computer MIDI/audio card? (When you play the K3, do you get sound from your computer?). If you can't do this, then your MIDI interface is not working correctly. If you can do this, then it would be a setup problem with the software you're using. M (I love my K3s by the way...bought mine new in 1986, and used mine everyday on the road - working musician across the country - for 15 years. In '89 I started using a stripped-down PC onstage to control all the MIDI stuff - keys, effects, lighting, etc. The K3 is still in great shape, and is extremely useful for creating analog synth sounds on the fly, adjusting parameters while playing and staying in tune - something the '70's analog units had a problem with. And you can emulate pretty closely the patches from other units, Rolands, etc. I have a lot of keyboards, and I don't think of any one of them as being the "best", because each unit fills a specific need, but the K3 has served me very well for years. I still use it.) --- justino30 <justin-macri@...> wrote: > I just got a K3 from an online classified ad, then I purchased the M- > Audio Uno USB to Midi interface so i could store my patches on my > computer, so i hooked it up from my synth to my computer.
