- power cable
- fuse inside
- power supply - el. caps, power regulators - check output voltages
- transformer
- lose connector - reseat
- dirty or oxidized connector - c lean & reseat
- damaged OS in Eprom
- reseat all IC's in sockets
- dead backup battery - replace it
- garbage in RAM - send good data by MIDI, factory data for example

If all Daniel suggested fails, try checking the reset circuit, I posted a sort of guide a while ago. Those reset ICs seem to fail from time to time, specially if the you have a dodgy PSU (e.g. unstable Vcc due to bad supply caps).
