Hi, I build a HxC Floppy in my EII HD+ and I can boot from it. But I can't load a Bank. ??? When I boot (OS 3.1 HD, or non HD) the EII say "Null Present" and if I use load Disk I can see a short light on the HxC, but thats all. :-( Dose anyone have any Idea what's wrong? I have just one Floppy (the HxC Rev.F), a standard untwisted FD Cable, Jumper 0 is set and Firmware is 1.72. Thanx Wolfram

If you can boot the OS then you have a working HFE file correct? After booting have you tried saving a bank and loading it back in? Trying to get a better understanding of what you are experiencing.

YES, if I save d Disk by the EII, I can load it from the HxC. And I Build a EII Image by EMXP and this works too! So it seams that the HxC Software did not merge the .EII File right withe the .EMUIIFD File. --- In emulatorII-list@yahoogroups.com, dblondin@... wrote:

That sounds similar to a problem I was experiencing last night. Whenever you create an HFE file with the HxC software, check the file size. If it's spitting out unusually small files shut it down, restart, and try again. This can also occur when doing a batch convert and the HxC software behaves as if everything is normal. But of course the EII will not load the files. Restarting the software has fixed the problem for me.
