Hi -
I have an EII+HD with one floppy drive. When I try to format a blank floppy the machine says, "Use Floppy Sftwe & Erase Mem? Y/N." I press YES and then it says "Loading Software," and then says "Drive not ready." What am I doing wrong? (The disk does not have the write-protect notch on it, either.)

i don't have an EiiHD. i just figured it was the first place to look. what does the manual say it wants to see? i know the DPX wants DD and will not see HD disks properly. it will actually try and format / save HD disks but will not read them again...
