Oberheim DPX-1 and HxC Floppy Emulator - help needed

Oberheim DPX-1 and HxC Floppy Emulator - help needed

2012-07-12 by elmbeatz

Hi everybody!
I already posted this in the DPX-1 group, but maybe there's help here, too..

I tried to install a Rev-F HxC Floppy Emulator in my DPX-1 (it should replace the 3,5" drive).
It didn't really work out well - I think I did everything correctly concerning all data on the SD card, but finally loading an image didn't work. I think the DPX hasn't really 'recognized' the HxC as drive...
Also, the loading LED of the 5,25" drive stayed on all the time since powering up. Loading from that drive didn't work neither.
maybe I need to have a custom Floppy cable for the HXC (i simply used the one that was connected to the old 3,5" drive). Or maybe the jumper settings are wrong (I tried many variations though..).

Any advice appreciated!
Thanks in advance and lots of greetings,
Elm.
