ps..since I will be using sound designer, I studied the compatability chart and am not quite certain if there are any variables on that or not. My studio is very small and I have very little room left for a full sized mac, so that is why I'm interested in using a powerbook.

yes, I have it working with EII under 3.1 OS

My EII is working perfectly and I'm a bit hesitant to change anything, even the OS, so we will see.
