dpx-1 and sound designer ?

2003-12-10 by Kevin Kelley

Will the DPX-1 recieve a midi sample dump from emulator II banks I
have store in sound designer on my mac? I noticed that it will
recieve midi sample dump just wondering if this will work the same
from eII Sound designer?

Hi,
No. The EII does not use MIDI sample dump. You need SD II V 2.5 or earlier.
This supports both samplers (DPX-1 over MIDI and EII over RS422).

I think the DPX-1 transforms the EII samples onto 12
bit. Are they playable or usable in a PC ?
