I don't know the answer to this question but I suspect it's OK.

The Service Manual has a detailed description of revision differences/kludges as well. So you might be able to ascertain it from there. If you do try it and succeed I'd like to know.

I swapped them freely on a couple of units I'm working on. The analog boards are the same. The only caveat I can think of is that the non-modified Rev.0 has an RS232 port, and they updated it on Rev 1 to RS422 for Sound Designer/Mac support.
