emulatorII-list

Hi,

Last Saturday I picked up a semi-working EII. It powers up, but it won't boot. Even when a functional disk is inserted in the upper drive, it behaves as if there was no disk in the drive - The lcd says "insert disk" and the floppy lights alternating flashing. I know the floppies are good because they boot fine in my other functional EII. Anyone know of causes of this behavior and what to troubleshoot?

Presuming your jumper settings are correct it may be voltage settings on the PSU. Tweaking these sorted a similar problem with mine. Completed by a tech, not me BTW.

Interesting...thanks John!  I thought about having the psu recapped and calibrated anyways. Maybe that'll sort things out...

Well there's two small dials on the PSU, the tech tweaked these and the drives came to life, after the PSU had been re-capped. Good luck.

Well there's two small dials on the PSU, the tech tweaked these and the drives came to life, after the PSU had been re-capped. Good luck.
