Hi All, I took the time get started all the way with an EII+, EMXP and E-muser. I bought the OMI cd's from Q up Arts (vol 1 & 2) I used the omiflop driver and Esynthesist's CDS3TOOL v2 to extract the ISO's. I drop some extracted EII files in the EMXP /images folder, but I get errorcode=60 when I try to load them from EMXP any help? Next stepis to test my brand new e-muser which cost me a couple of weeks toput together :-). thanks, Tom

I don't think the files on the Q Up Arts CDROM's are SD for EII files. As far as I recall they are in AIFF format. What file types do you see? What size are they? They should all be more or less the same size - just around 500kb.Kenneth.Hi All,

We have the files both ways; EII format and sound designer1. By the way, I was at NAMM's Museum of Making Music and they have a brand new EII on display! Pretty cool.Kind Regards, DougOn Mar 27, 2011, at 6:13 AM, Kenneth Abildgaard wrote:I don't think the files on the Q Up Arts CDROM's are SD for EII files. As far as I recall they are in AIFF format. What file types do you see? Can you send me one or two of these extracted .EII files ? Then I can check why you get errorcode 60. FYI: This errorcode indicates that there's something wrong with the "current present", i.e. the preset that was chosen on the EII just before the bank was written to disk. Which is strange, because your banks originate from OMI cdroms. So I'm pretty sure this is not the real problem; the problem is most probably caused by an invalid ISO image. The "current preset" is stored in the first bytes of a bank, so they are validated the first by EMXP. If the whole bank is "garbage", errorcode 60 will occur because it's the first error (of many probably) detected by EMXP. Did you make the ISO image with CSD3TOOL itself, or with another software ? ///E-Synthesist --- In emulatorII-list@yahoogroups.com, "tiditisj" <tdr@...> wrote: > > Hi All, > > I took the time get started all the way with an EII+, EMXP and E-muser. > I bought the OMI cd's from Q up Arts (vol 1 & 2) > I used the omiflop driver and Esynthesist's CDS3TOOL v2 to extract the ISO's. > I drop some extracted EII files in the EMXP /images folder, but I get errorcode=60 when I try to load them from EMXP > > any help? > > Next stepis to test my brand new e-muser which cost me a couple of weeks toput together :-). > > thanks, > > Tom >

Hi, Thanks for looking into this. I created the ISO image with MagicISO, as explained in the OMI readme file. I sent you some EII examples in your mailbox. best regards, Tom --- In emulatorII-list@yahoogroups.com, "esynthesist" <esynthesist@...> wrote: > > Can you send me one or two of these extracted .EII files ? > Then I can check why you get errorcode 60. > > FYI: This errorcode indicates that there's something wrong with the "current present", i.e. the preset that was chosen on the EII just before the bank was written to disk. > Which is strange, because your banks originate from OMI cdroms. > So I'm pretty sure this is not the real problem; the problem is most probably caused by an invalid ISO image.
