LCD Display ..PROBLEMS!!

well .....

same display fine working in SP12 but problematic in EII + 

tried cure i found here about 74HTC04 replacement with 74LS04///
tested with 74LS04N  and 74LS04P ....and have kinda same problem ... still have gibberish symbols on LCD!! :(.

.. for a second i have all clear and then start crazy action!

will try to get 74LS04 but that will be very hard here! :( .. 


any other idea ???

check fleabay. it's really a common chip and they're dirt cheap.
