New Emulator II Sound Library - Seeking trades ;)

New Emulator II Sound Library - Seeking trades ;)

2010-10-31 by jmp701

Put together a sizeable sound library for the Emulator II with a view to maybe swapping sounds with other members (not EMU/OMI etc. libraries).

There's two audio demo's here (top of page as direct linking tool isn't working):

http://www.soundclick.com/bands/default.cfm?bandID=481080&content=music

Part 2 includes sounds from the Elka Synthex, Roland XP50, JP8080 & V-Synth, Prophet 5, Novation Supernova & Bit 1 synths plus some layered pads from a mixture of them all. Programmed, edited and recorded over the past few years.

Some over full keyboard range but most over two octaves only due to sampling limitations of the EII. Preference to supply/trade sounds in Mac/Sound Designer format to save my old 5.25" floppy drives!

Got anything interesting, let me know. ;)

BTW - Sorry for double post, some missing info and errors...

First 25 complete soundbanks now created for the EII with 1-6 presets on each over full keyboard range. More info & demo here:

If interested in these in Sound Designer format, get in touch. Cheers.

Well thankyou Wayne... ;)

Just to update here, there's now 50 new soundbanks for the EMU Emulator II split into two batches of 25 - 'Analogue' & 'Pads & Digital'. Each soundbank has between 1 - 6 presets.

A selection of sounds are demo'd on YouTube here:

Analogue

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X3UDLN1dUA8

Pads & Digital

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PzC0krpiukA

Both are available in Sound Designer format as I'm afraid my 5.25" floppy drives aren't up to much copying these days ;).

Cheers.

For those without a SD connection I've put two batches of 5.25" soundbank floppies on Ebay if interested.

These have taken most of my spare blank DS DD disks..! Anyone selling NOS 5.25" DS DD disks give us a shout. Cheers ;)
