i have a question concerning the "sync" section of my sp12. i would 
like it to be a slave to my sequencer program (cubase) the sp12 is 
connected via midi-interface (motu-expressXT)

i would like to have it synced in "midi-mode" - so that if i start 
cubase - the sp12 sould start simultaneously.

i have it working, but only when i push the sp12 play-button in sync 
mode (just like the drumulator) - the light starts flashing and it 
is "awaiting" a start-signal...  that works

but in the manual it is said, that it is also possible to start the 
sp12 via midi, WITHOUT having to hit the play-button in sync mode 
time and time again... it is writen, that "every midi signal usually 
contains start and stop signals, which the sp12 can interpret"

does someone have sure-shot sp12+cubase settings which get the job 
done???
