emulatorII-list

Hi Everyone, 

I'm new to the list, after just picking up an EII. I've got an old mac that I want to run sound designer on, and am ready to make my own interface cable. 

I've looked at the wiring diagram for the cable, but before I start soldering, can someone please confirm if the pin numbers shown in the wiring diagram are of the connection side (where male meets female) or on the wiring side where idividual wires are soldered to the connector?
