Hi, 
I have the need for some info:
1) When you turn on the machine, the display
   show "*** Emulator 2 ***" or 
        "*** Emulator 2+ ***"?
2) Someone know where I can purchase the E2 PLUS
   MAIN Eprom? (I've seen on the photo section
   a similar label on the MAIN Eprom, and the 
   "E2 1MB Memory Expansion" document talk about
   a new Main Eprom also)

II+ is a memoryexpanded II

Have you got an expanded II+ ? If not, I suspect you wont need the II+ 
eprom.

Hi,
thanks you for your reply.
Yes, I have an EII+, which I have purchased broken some month ago:
the drive spin up, make three clicks and then stop, while the display
show '*** Emulator 2 ***' 'Software version 3.0'.
After some work on it (clean up connectors, clean up ICs pins,
test DRAM on another sampler, run Debug Eprom Diagnostic, etc)
the sampler still doesn't work, so I have to focus on other paths...
The Eprom on my E2+ are both v. 1.8 (I havent' hear about this
version before), and I want to be sure that the problem lies not
on the Eproms.
